Niagara Falls, sometimes referred to as the Canadian Falls, draw tourists by the thousands each year to catch a glimpse of the stunning view of the falls, making it one of the most well-known and famous waterfalls in the world. Visitors from abroad and North America alike cannot seem to shake their desire to visit this dramatic aquatic spectacle. Niagara Falls is the oldest state park in the US, established in 1885 as the Niagara Reservation. It was the first part of a line of reservations that eventually became the cornerstone to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
Niagara Falls is located between Lakes Erie and Ontario sharing a border with New York State. To get to Niagara Falls from the United States, visitors can travel by car over one of three bridges: The Rainbow, Peace or Queenston-Lewiston Bridges. From night time miniature golf games at the Dinosaur Park to unbelievable sites at the Ripley’s Believe or Not Museum, Clifton Hill is the place to visit when looking for diversity in terms of entertainment. You can catch a movie, play video games in a fantastic arcade; bowl a game or two; or watch your favorite television show on one of several big screen televisions. Other attractions offered at Clifton Hill include an all star wax museum and a number of thrill rides!
This is a little hard to decipher. Not surprisingly most people visited Niagara Falls in the summer. The few who did go in the winter said they were impressed by the falls surrounded by ice, but expressed regret that they could not go on the Maid of the Mist (it stops running in October). In short, it seems like you should not go to Niagara in the winter unless you are prepared for the cold.

Tahiti is the largest island in the Winward group of French Polynesia, located in the archipelago of South islands in the Southern Pacific Ocean. The climate here is largely tropical but is very moderate and has its own peculiarity. It is always lush green here due to heavy rains for 6 months in a year. The most important island in the country as it is home to the capital Papeete and the only international airport in French Polynesia, Tahiti today is modern and buzzing with all the perks and advantages of city life. Offering a unique blend of modernity and primitiveness, Tahiti makes for an exciting vacation destination.
Your Tahiti vacation is sure to be exciting and jam packed with so many things to do. Every island in this territory has its own unique sense of tradition and culture so it is a good idea to plan to spend a good amount of time on each of them. In Tahiti you will get to witness shark feeding, for the waters around the islands of the French Polynesia are full of toothy sharks. Rangiroa, an atoll near Tahiti is probably the best place for shark feeding, where you need to stand in shallow water to see sharks taking food from the hands of an expert diver.
Tahiti is also famous for its spas. No vacation can be complete without a relaxing spa massage amidst the fragrance of tropical flowers, ending with a body wrap of banana leaves, leaving all your muscles soothed and relaxed. If you are a creature of modern comforts, then the capital Papeete has it all. Fantastic resorts, top notch hotel, budget accommodations, excellent restaurants, a throbbing nightlife, lively bars and an effusive waterfront, all make this city the Las Vegas of the Pacific. Tahiti is a wonderful place to visit and you’ll want to come back to this place after you have visited it once.

Travel Insurance is an essential part of any trip and is something that should not be put aside. Some of us travel frequently and whether you are planning a single trip or have more than one holiday per year you will probably want to make sure you have adequate travel insurance cover in the unfortunate event that you need to make a claim against your travel insurance. Think ahead, plan ahead. Annual travel insurance easily pays for itself with just a couple of trips. But not all insurances are worth the same and as always cheapest is not necessarily the best.
How much travel insurance costs will depend on your age and the type of coverage you choose. Basic policies cost as little as $5.50 USD per $1000 of coverage. On the other hand, you can expect a full coverage policy to cost you from 7 to 10% of the cost of your trip, depending on your age. Travel insurance is highly recommended, there are usually about 10% of people who file claims. Sometimes some travelers make have taken a overly expensive trip that they would have to pay out of their own money if they have not bought travel insurance.
Many travel insurers have a blanket exclusion to cover acts of terrorism. It is worth checking with your insurer what their position on this is prior to purchasing your travel insurance policy. Travel insurance coverage serves as a legal means to assist any traveler when he or she experiences certain risks from traveling. Travelers can really save a huge sum on money by cutting costs when getting insurance by themselves. In comparison to your total costs, annual travel insurance is only a very small item. If you are covered for any eventuality, you’ll have less to worry about, which will translate to more relaxation and enjoyment.

this is just a teaser. i’m going to make you actually read before you see the rest
oh, and fyi, you may now click on any picture to see it in FULL SIZE.
i’d suggest that you do that
i’ll slowly be working my way back in time to add this new and exciting (to me. the rest of the world has been implementing it for ages,) feature to all previous posts as well. because i know there’s nothing that you’d like to see more than a larger version of my face!
exordium: since i wasn’t actually present at the shoot itself – just the styling of it the day before – i’ve attempted to stick with what i know – things i’ve designed myself, and a couple of the shots that amber and i styled together. you can check out a little more of the “diana-writing about things she didn’t experience” action over at painfully hip, but since she was the lucky one not puking that day, i think we should join forces and demand that she share her experience that day. let’s start a social revolution!!
moving on.
first of all, how shady am i?! first i’m here, then i’m not, then i come back, then i leave you again…
typical girl.
i’m moving, ok? it’s hard.
i don’t have an internet connection.
i’m beginning to have a personal issue with “boxes.”
as in, i whisper terrible things to them when no one is around.
like, “your mother never loved you,” and “your boyfriend told me i’m prettier than you.”
extreme? no. those things are pure evil. you put your stuff in them, and then you have to carry them.
want some good news? i’ve got pictures!! and a video! i know how much you love the videos. my stats page tells me exactly how many times each one has been viewed.
even after i guilt-trip you.
come on guys. ”slow internet connection” is not an excuse. i’m trying to entertain you.
remember all the way back in july? those good old days?
remember corpus christi? that place where i got really sick and stayed in bed for a day and a half, totally missing Fun Time?
well this beautiful girl/amazing hostess/provider-of-air-mattresses to those in need, and organizer of epic shoots sent us the results of the just-now-mentioned photo-op!

if you don’t live in tucson, you won’t care about the following, but know that us tucsonons are peeing our pants with glee right now.
this is almost as good as christmas.
no, this is better than christmas, because christmas doesn’t involve drunkenly stumbling through tunnels alongside moving vehicles and a trolly while squealing “spring break!!” as you venture forth on your mission to be seen in every bar tucson offers up.
yep, once again, 4th ave and downtown will be connected by one very convenient underpass. no longer will we have to trek all the way to the 6th ave underpass to get to 80′s night. no longer will we have to bravely endanger our lives as we try to take the “short cut” on a dare, climb across the train tracks, and fall off the other side of the bridge and break our ankle. (i personally don’t know anyone who would do that … maybe.)
if this thrills the living crap out of you and you’re in the area, then you should join us for some celebratin’ at preen.
i swear to you, it will be more fun than you can imagine. i mean, look what happened last time.
