There are plenty of cultural sights to see as part of a luxury holiday to Dubai. A megalopolis in the making, the city is a microcosm of people from all nationalities. Split into two halves by the Creek; namely the Bur and the Deira region; these suburbs are colloquially ‘the heartbeat of the Arab World’. Dubai has the reputation of being a playground for the well heeled and holidays to this Emirate have become increasingly popular despite the many recent rumours about its’ impending financial doom.
There are many things to do here in Dubai – lazing on the white powdered sandy beaches, playing golf, fishing or for the more adventurous desert safaris, water parks and diving are just a few of the many exhilarating activities on the menu. While the desert landscape may be amazing, few things in Dubai are as spectacular as the Dubai cityscape. An amazing way to see the city is to take a ride on a Seawings seaplane.
The majority of people travel for 7-10 nights but do remember when booking, the period of Ramadan runs between August – September and during this period you should not eat, drink or smoke in public, this could cause offence to practising Muslims. Note that the weather is very hot between March and October (around 40 C) during the day, but in winter temperatures on a Dubai holidays are much more bearable.
